No sprints at the Cunnamulla “Outback” Masters Games, why not enter the 10km run along the weir road or the 5km walk, which proved exceedingly popular in years gone by as it offered all visitors the opportunity to participate in the games.

Venue

Athletics events, 10km run and 5km walk will be an out and back event along the  bitumen Weir Road, which runs alongside the Warrego River.  All participants will be asked to meet at Centenary Park next to the information centre prior to the event.  Both of these events are finals, therefore all participants will leave at the same time.  The athletes will need to cross two roads, Louise and Alice Sts, giving way to cross traffic at Louise Street.  There will be a water stop at the 5km mark, so 10km competitors will not be able to miss the turnaround spot.
